Time Trial Bikes
The use of time trial bikes will be permitted in Stage 3. It is up to each team to arrange transportation of road bikes to Stage 4, although assistance will be provided by VLCC on request, and where possible.

Warooka to Minlaton, via Port Moorowie, back to Yorketown, then to Minlaton (80 km)

Countback Rules:
|
Stages 1, 2 & 3:
Where two or more teams have the same total aggregate time for a stage, bonus points will be added together, and then divided evenly.
|
|
|
Stage 4:
Where two or more teams have the same total aggregate time, at the time of completing stage 4, countbacks (based on an individual basis) will apply on Stage 4 only.
For countback purposes only on stage 4, additional time bonuses of 7, 5, 3, 1 will be applied to the competitors who finish 1st - 4th in Stage 4.
Note: These additional time bonuses will be in addition to the 3, 2, 1 individual time bonuses applied on the Stage 4 finish.
